What ifs

A couple of interesting items gleaned from FDL:

First, what does it tell you about the credibility of BushCo's incompetence argument in the context of the U.S. Attorney purge, if Patrick Fitzgerald was on the list of those to be fired.

Secondly, Jane speculates on what might play out if Congress subpoenas White House staff and BushCo refuses to allow them to appear. This is a showdown that has been anticipated. If the Dems have any balls, this could be big.
