Black Reconnaissance

Part of the problem with people who lie and otherwise behave irresponsibly is that one gets to the point where you doubt everything they say and become willing to believe that almost anything is possible, that there is nothing you couldn't believe them capable of doing. Digby has an article called Black Reconnaissance which brings this to mind. It is Thomas Pynchon-esque -- in that there is evidence that supports an unbelieveable premise.
