From Greg Sargent:
Here are the four charges Libby was convicted on:
* obstruction of justice when he intentionally deceived a grand jury investigating the outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame;
* making a false statement by intentionally lying to FBI agents about a conversation with NBC newsman Tim Russert;
* perjury when he lied in court about his conversation with Russert;
* a second count of perjury when he lied in court about conversations with other reporters.
Libby faces a probable sentence of one-and-a-half to three years in prison when he is sentenced by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton.
UPDATE: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid calls on President Bush to not pardon Libby.

Maybe this is a learning lesson for people who are serving a sitting administration be it Republican or Democrat, if you are involved in some covert action, stay the hell away from the media, the Journalist, keep your trap shut, you call the shots not them, if you don't you will get sandbagged, and we know who the jury will believe because the majority of the American public believes the Government is corrupt.
How long before Libby rats out Cheney??????????????
I doubt if Libby will "rat out" Cheney as long as he (Libby) is free and BushCo supporters are already calling for a pardon for "poor Libby".
I don't think that "the Government" is corrupt. I think that some people in the gov't are corrupt. The rest of us need to hold them to account and see that they are punished if proven guilty. That's the job of citizens, Congress, DOJ and the media.
