Woodward to be on 60 Minutes tonight

I plan to watch 60 Minutes tonight to see the Woodward interview. At issue, no doubt, will be the revelations and allegations in State of Denial, his latest book about BushCo. I have written before about why I am no fan of Woodward but I do acknowledge that he did have unequalled access and certainly could have written a worthwhile account of the Bush White House. His last two trips to the plate were hack jobs, we'll some see what this at bat is like.

From a review in Newsweek:
A truer simile might be to a loud musical instrument. An orchestra of books has raised a cacophony of doubts about the Bush administration's handling of the war in Iraq. Coming after Bernard Trainor and Michael Gordon's "Cobra II," Tom Ricks's "Fiasco," Ron Suskind's "The One Percent Doctrine," "Hubris" by NEWSWEEK's Michael Isikoff and The Nation's David Corn, Woodward's "State of Denial" resounded among the administration's growing chorus of critics like a clash of cymbals.
